Training & Experience

Wendy is an Apprentice Pilates Instructor trained in Classical Pilates methodology through Rebel Pilates Collective's comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training. RPC emphasizes anatomy, movement science, and safe cueing techniques. Their training covers the full Pilates repertoire, exercise variations, adaptations for diverse bodies and pathologies, ethical instructional practices, and tactile feedback methods. 

Wendy has completed: 

• Over 200 hours of interactive lectures; 

• Thousands of hours of self-practice since 2009;

• More than 50 hours of student teaching;

• Hundreds of observation hours of comprehensively-trained Pilates teachers; and 

• Multiple assessments of their teaching skills.

Strong communication & interpersonal skills help me to be an effective teacher, and a strong sense of personal responsibility drives me to be accountable to my clients.  I value continuous learning and appreciate opportunities to improve & grow professionally while you grow your strength and form!
